“The secret life of women scientists, engineers and artists: a video series and workshops for girls and young people from a migrant background” is a project supported by ABB that allows scientists and engineers from a migrant background to tell their stories and puts them in the spotlight using an intersectional perspective. In this way, they can serve as role models for girls and young people from such backgrounds. At the same time, the young people learn to be critical of traditional expectations and ideas about roles, group norms, study choices, etc.
Ella has developed and reworked material that is also useful and suitable for teachers, mentors and other stakeholders.
