Initiatives

The Digital School for Women is a unique project, the result of a partnership between two associations, the Womenpreneur-Initiative and the Foundation for Digital Inclusion. This unique experience offers women the opportunity to train in the repair and refurbishment of smartphones and tablets, a field much in demand in the age of digital technology and climate change awareness. In addition to the weekly technical training session, bi-monthly workshops are organised to support participants in their job search or business start-up. In doing so, the Digital School for Women ensures that the skills acquired by participants in the programme can be put to work in their future careers. The course concludes with a work placement in an enterprise specialising in the reconditioning of digital tools, which will enable the women to immerse themselves in the professional world and to become familiar with its practices and know-how. Results: 136 training hours: 16 5-hour technical workshops, 8 2-hour professional workshops and 40 placement hours; 51 applicants of whom 10 were selected; 4 certificates awarded
